Executive Committee Appointments 2026

Each year a Nominating Committee is approved by Council to compile a slate of nominees for the non-Presidential positions on the Executive Committee where there is an upcoming vacancy, including any vacancy resulting from the expiration of a term of office:

• the three Vice-Presidents,

• the Treasurer,

• the Chairs of the Standing Committees, and

• the Members-at-Large.

In order to compile a slate of candidates, the Nominating Committee solicited and considered recommendations from the incumbent President, the Executive Committee members, and Council.

For more detailed information please consult the UTFA Constitution (Article 9 in particular), the UTFA By-Laws (Article 10 in particular), the Guidelines for conduct of the Executive Committee appointments (which includes Key Dates for 2026).

A slate of nominees from the Nominating Committee shall be communicated in writing by email to all members of Council no later than May 1. In no way should the recommendations of the Nominating Committee be interpreted as anything other than recommendations.

If you have any comments or questions about the work of the Nominating Committee, please communicate with the Chair, Max Mishler, at mishler@utfa.org. ​After the Nominating Committee has communicated the slate of nominees to Council, further nominations will be accepted by the Chief Returning Officer (CRO) until May 10, 2026, in accordance with the Constitution and By-Laws. Please submit a nomination form to the CRO: Susan Bondy CRO2026@utfa.org on or before May 10, 2026.
