Brenda joined U of T in 1977 and taught accounting and management at the University of Toronto St. George and UTM campuses, as well as at several international universities. The U of T honoured Brenda with an Excellence in Teaching Award.
Brenda served as UTFA’s Treasurer from 1994 to 2002 and then again from 2003 to 2005. Her colleagues recall that she applied her professional accounting and management expertise to maximize UTFA’s finances while serving on the Executive. Staff fondly recall that Brenda and her partner, David Chun – who was both a physician and an artist – often shared David’s artwork to brighten up the Association’s office space.
We extend our sincere condolences to Brenda’s family, friends, and colleagues on UTFA’s Retired Member’s Committee and beyond. The Association appreciates Brenda’s service to the membership and to the University community.
