Today, the Vice-Provost, Academic Programs and Vice-Provost, Innovations in Undergraduate Education issued this message:

Dear colleague:

We would like to take this opportunity to share important time sensitive news about changes to the Portal (Blackboard).

The Portal is being shut down on Aug 31, 2018 at 11:59 pm. You will no longer have access to the Portal after this date.

Course material saved in Portal that you require for teaching in the future, needs to be migrated to Quercus (https://q.utoronto.ca). Only Quercus the university's new Academic Toolbox will be available for teaching in September courses and beyond.

Action required:

1. Migrate your course content to Quercus (https://q.utoronto.ca) by Aug 31, 2018.

2. Visit our training site (http://uoft.me/qtraining) for Quercus Training at U of T.

3. Contact your divisional technical and training support for answers to your questions http://toolboxrenewal.utoronto.ca/training-and-support/contact-us/ .

To learn more about Quercus, content migration and key contacts visit the Academic Toolbox Renewal website at uoft.me/q. For the last training webinar series before start of the term please visit  https://teaching.utoronto.ca/ctsi-events/quercus-training/ to register.

Thank you for your continued cooperation as we migrate to the new Academic Toolbox!
