UTFA is grieving several divisional guidelines on assessing effectiveness in teaching. A careful study of these recently issued guidelines has shown that they violate appointments policies that UTFA has negotiated. UTFA will, of course, make every effort to resolve the issues in a collegial manner in discussions with Simcoe Hall. Any matters that cannot be resolved will be argued at the Grievance Review Panel. We will keep the membership informed.
