At the February 15 meeting of UTFA Council, Jonathan Hamilton-Diabo, Director of Aboriginal Student Services, and co-chair of the Steering Committee for the U of T Response to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada, gave a very helpful one-hour presentation on the Steering Committee’s work. At the same meeting, UTFA Council passed a motion to donate $10,000 to First Nations House at U of T, in a show of support for the implementation of the recommendations of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission.
